Here’s a basic rule of creating hypnotic suggestions… They must be positive and in the present tense. This is a basic rule… the kind of thing you’d learn in hypnosis101!
To give you an example… “I will stop smoking in 3 days” breaks this rule, whereas “In three days time, I am a non-smoker” doesn’t. Both suggestions say exactly the same thing, but the first one actually makes it more difficult to stop smoking… the second one makes it easy!
Here’s another basic hypnosis101 rule… ‘If you suggest something, your subjects’ attention is drawn to it.’
